Mission Statement- Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive living environment for individuals in recovery from alcoholism/addiction, as well as co-occurring addictions and mental health conditions; to offer education in the ways of living sober; and to share with others how to live a life with meaning and purpose as we discover together, how to become productive members of the community.
Vision Statement- Our vision is to see all individuals live as productive members in society, and model recovery together, in hopes that it will make a difference in the community where we live.
Recovery is Possible and has NO LIMITS!!!
Our Current Short Term Goal
ODAT Recovery Solutions Inc. has opened our first sober living recovery home in Stonington, Il. This recovery home, ODAT House #1, houses four individuals in recovery from the disease of addictions and is currently full. We are starting small with this house until we can obtain grant funding, as well as donations, to open more homes in Christian County. Our President, Bruce Reinheimer, has converted his current residency, with permission from his landlord, into the first ODAT House. He is the live-in house manager and has 6 years of continuous sobriety as of October 15, 2019. Bruce is also a Mental Health Professional, as well as a Certified Recovery Support Specialist. Once he passes his test for his Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor, and Co-Occurring Disorder Professional, he will begin providing Addiction Services to the individuals in the home as part of their recovery requirements to live in the ODAT House.
Our current short term goal is to acquire funding, through grants and donations, necessary to support our missions statement so that the individuals in the home can have a safe and comforting environment in order to achieve their goals in sobriety as they discover together a new design of living.
Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
My name is Bruce Reinheimer and I am a person in long term recovery. I lived with untreated alcoholism & addiction, as well as mental health conditions, for many years. At the end of my active alcoholism & addiction I lived in a hopeless state of mind, body, and soul. Alcohol and drugs were my escape from reality that numbed me and masked any true feelings that I didn’t want to feel. The disease of alcoholism & addiction took everything I had, including my self dignity. Recovery has given my life back ten-fold. Today, I wake up looking forward to the day with meaning and purpose rather than dreading the day to come. My job is to help people in recovery learn how to live a productive life One Day at a Time(ODAT) as a sober person in the community. On October 15th, 2013, I decided to make a commitment to my recovery and to dedicate my life to love and service. I am starting with this page. I have received my letter confirming O.D.A.T. Recovery Solutions Inc. as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. This has been a personal dream of mine since I made the commitment to recovery.
My long term goal is to have a recovery center that models the above Mission & Vision Statements. The plan is to build, or remodel, a building in Taylorville, IL that will have two wings, one for female housing units, and one side for male housing units. Both sides will have a live in house manager. There will be a Day Center separating the two wings for Evidenced Based Practice Groups such as WRAP-Wellness Recovery Action Plan; A place to come hang out during the week for different activities and outings. It can be a place to hold 12 Step meetings or have a place to do stepwork between a sponsor and his sponsee. I would like it to have offices for visiting social services to have a quiet place to see the individuals they are working with. It will be mostly peer ran by individuals seeking certification in the field of Recovery Support Services.
Today, as a concerned citizen I ask those with a desire to help individuals that live with the disease of alcoholism & addiction; that have loved ones in the depths of active alcoholism & addiction, help me, and the Board of Directors, build this non-profit organization by donating to the cause to help the Recovery Community in Christian County, IL. Thank you in advance for any and all donations we receive. It may save a life of someone you know!
Awesome and Getting Better,
Bruce Reinheimer CRSS, MHP

Making A Difference
O.D.A.T. Recovery Solutions Inc. is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges, addictions. We want to do our best to help the individuals we work with and teach them the sense of being a productive member of the community.
One Step at a Time
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Homeless Outreach is something that we take very seriously, Addictions and Homelessness go hand in hand sometimes and it is hard to concentrate on recovery when you don't have a roof over your head. When we reach our long term goal of having a residential recovery center, ODAT Recovery Solutions Inc. hopes to have the necessary resources to help people who suffer from co-occurring addictions with homelessness. One step at a time, one house at a time, one day at a time(ODAT) we plan to build a recovery organization that will help with the addiction epidemic in Christian County, IL. We are currently raising money to open our first Recovery Home. The Recovery Homes will require the individuals to agree to a 1 year program with a 6 month aftercare. They will learn to live independently and be ready to move out on their own in 1 year. They will then be enrolled in a 6 month aftercare program to see them through their first 6 months of independent living.
